Script variants

Optional behavior is chosen by file name. Combine as many as you like:

Site settings → General shows the right file name for the options you select.

Tagged events

With tagged-events, add a class to any link or button:

<a href="/signup" class="plausible-event-name=Signup">Sign up</a>

Then create a goal named Signup.

Manual pageviews

With manual, nothing is sent until you ask:

plausible('pageview')

Use it when you need to control exactly when a pageview counts, for example after a consent step.
