Non-profit discount

Registered non-profit organisations get Tidemark Cloud Pro for 50% off. Each approval is reviewed by a person, needs documentation, and lasts a year at a time.

Who qualifies

The organisation must be a registered non-profit or charity, and the site you want to measure must be the organisation's own. "Not for profit" in spirit is not enough: we need to see the registration.

Open-source projects that sell nothing can get Pro for free instead. See Open-source program. If you qualify for both, use that one.

What you get

  • Pro at half price: $3.50 a month or $35 a year, instead of $7 or $70. That includes unlimited sites, 250,000 events a month (3,000,000 a year on the yearly plan) and five years of history. See Plans and limits.
  • Extra event packs, if you ever need them, are sold at the normal price.
  • The same direct email support as every Cloud customer.

What documentation we need

Send official government documentation showing the organisation's non-profit status, for example:

  • in the United States, the IRS determination letter for a 501(c)(3) (or the relevant subsection)
  • in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and similar places, the entry or certificate from the national charity register
  • elsewhere, the equivalent certificate or registration issued by your government

The document should show the organisation's legal name and match the name you apply under. A screenshot of a public register entry is fine when the register is official.

How to apply

  1. Create a Tidemark Cloud account if you don't have one yet. See Sign up and add your first site.

    Email support@tidemarkanalytics.com from the account's email address, with the subject "Non-profit discount". Include:

    • the organisation's legal name and website
    • the documentation described above, attached
    • the site or sites you want to measure
  2. Wait for a reply. Every application is reviewed by hand. We may ask a follow-up question.
  3. Use your discount code. When you are approved we send a discount code worth 50% off Pro. Subscribe from Account settings → Plan & billing and enter the code at checkout. If you are already subscribed, tell us and we'll sort it out so you aren't paying twice.

Renewal and what happens at the end

Approvals last one year. About 30 days before yours ends, we check that the organisation is still registered, and we may ask you for current documentation. If it still qualifies, we renew it for another year. If it doesn't, or we can't confirm it, the discount ends and your subscription continues at the normal price, and you can cancel it any time from Plan & billing. See Billing and your subscription.

If the organisation loses its non-profit status or closes, tell us and we'll end the discount.
