Script variants

Optional behavior is chosen by file name. Combine as many as you like:

Site settings → General shows the right file name for the options you select.

Variant	Adds
`outbound-links`	`Outbound Link: Click` events with a `url` property
`file-downloads`	`File Download` events with a `url` property
`form-submissions`	`Form: Submission` events
`tagged-events`	Click events from `class="plausible-event-name=Signup"`
`hash`	Pageviews on `#hash` route changes
`manual`	No automatic pageviews. Call `plausible('pageview')` yourself
`local`	Also track `localhost`

Tagged events

With tagged-events , add a class to any link or button:

<a href="/signup" class="plausible-event-name=Signup">Sign up</a>

Then create a goal named Signup .

With manual , nothing is sent until you ask:

plausible('pageview')

Use it when you need to control exactly when a pageview counts, for example after a consent step.
